War in unfortunately a harsh reality of life on this planet. It's causes vary, but it's ramifications affect all of us directly or indirectly. Contrary to some generals of the past, there is no glory in war, only distruction, atrocities and tragic loss of life and property. Our own country has found it necessary when our own freedoms have been challenged such as declarations of war or acts of war against us, and in those few cases war becomes the only viable option.

Some will say that displaying symbols such as the swaztika is offensive, but in the case of the swaztika it was used by our own military (45th Division), by Native American tribes, and by Churches of old as an ancient symbol of good luck. Still, some will say that it's a symbol of "Nazi Germany", but these statements are out of ignorance since not all citizens were members of the Nazi Party, not all the soldiers of the German miltary forces were members of the Nazi Party, and not all the German people agreed or endorsed the policies of the Nazi regime. The swaztika of WWII factually represents a country that existed at a specific point in time and place, and our display of symbol is meant soley to represent Germany during WWII.
